On a roll.

I love music, not just like it, It moves me at a very deep level. I been in clubs where a track has almost caused a dance riot. Here it is.
Lots of fun, the fight or flight mechanism was very much kicked in. It was at the Blue note nightclub in Hoxten Sq, London! And in  the midst of what can only be described as a D+B mosh a Rasta came up to me and shouted 'bwoy, it's ruff in ere tonight'
I will endeavour to bring you a snippet of what makes me move and often sends me a bit potty!
Here's another link for your aural perusal. breakbeatbuddha

Enjoy. Oh by the way it's not all jump up stuff. Ever heard of this band? Autechre,

What about the Aphex twin?

The last 4 months

Good things come to those without weight....
I think thats right. I will be filling one and all, well the other 3 people who have looked at my blog, in on the last 4 months. Heres a brief overview.
Race: Illinbah, QLD. Thick air. great vibe
Home 2 weeks
Race: You yangs, Vic. Lots of mud, tatties race, lots of doughnuts and plenty of Belly laughs. Thanks Thrifty
Holiday on the south coast with Megs: Awesome times with friends and my new bike. OOOOOOOOOHHH.
Back to it: National champs and a plethora of good racing. More belly laughs and good times.
Have received my first consignment of go go juice from a very efficient, www.incline.com

This time I have decide to forgo on the bespoke formulae which i will be naming,                               'T plays it cool'
for the generic formulae avialable online.

My reasoning was a comparison of Infinit's generic product. So far, so very good.
Products being tested.
  • 5 Hr racing and training mix
  • Heat mix
  • Fruit punch recovery mix
  • JET FUEL!!!!! (caffeine) If i can taste the caffeine, I like it!! Almost as much as I like using exclamation marks.
I will be keeping a log of how i feel using Infinites product. In terms of service and the websites ease of use, fantastic. Ordered my product on line on Friday, a.m and was with me on Tuesday morning.
Packacging again was cool arriving not in the standard 'almighty plastic containers' but in what I can only describe as 'almighty re-sealable coffee bags' You know the ones I mean, all black and foily on the inside with a one way valve that you would just love to sit and sniff all day long. I've tried it, Megan asked me to get up off the floor or at least move out of the way of the Lady with her trolly. (we were in Adli at the time)

Weapon of mass destruction. sub 9.5kg. Out the box!

Recently acquired light weight jousting tool.
Suitable for all forms of combat.

2009 Merida Team 96.
Size: Medium
Weight: 9.3kg (with pedals)
Spec: Team 96

I've had the bike almost a month now and impressions are simply.
 oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Then the male portion of my mind kicked in and I got the scales out to see if the claimed weights I had heard so much about were anything like accurate. Guess what, they Are!

Merida have taken this project to the 'nth' degree, sparing zero expense on quality. Now I know the word 'quality' is generally banded about and cannot be truly defined but this machine oozes the stuff, from nude carbon finish through to the one piece carbon rear linkage.

The bike arrived in the biggest bike box I have ever seen emblazoned with Green Merida Flames and at first I thought Merida had gone into manufacturing Plasma TVs as the team 96 came packaged differently to ever other bike I had built and seems to be some out there designers labour of love.

The team 96 comes standard with 2, yes 2 sets of tyres! A set of Maxxis 310's and a more realistic set of Larsen Exception series. So I wipped these straight off and put on Our sponsors Tyres and my preference. Schwalbe Racing Ralph   The weight stated is with these bad boys and a Stans set up. Quite simply Svelte!
On the front end we have Manitou R7 MRD 100 Absolute forks which match up very Well with the DT XR Carbon 50, Lockout controlled by a sleek Rock shock push lock (alloy not the dodgy plastic one)

This makes for a super adjustable ride. So far I have simply followed the recommended settings and had fun! This bike rocks and so it should do for the price but for your money you are getting the latest technology, beautiful form and function.Just consider that an Specilaized Epic S-works will cost something like $11,499!

I believe the 96 range will prove to be a hard beaten design and a stalwart for the future, all the way from this model at $10,500, all the way through to the 96 HFS-1000D Priced at around $3,300. If you've not seen or considered the 96 as an option. Stop what you're doing, right now! Get on line and find out your nearest dealer, and go have a play. You won't be disappointed.
